The Gold Hill Trail
The Gold Hill Trail runs from the Bull of the Woods Pasture on the Wheeler Peak Trail (TR 90 -- a.k.a. the Bull of the Woods Trail) at an elevation of 10,876 feet to Gold Hill over a distance of 3.5 miles. At the 2.6 mile point it intersects the Long Canyon Trail (TR 63) at an altitude of 11,922 feet in the middle of a very large meadow at the tree line. We have only verified the path and the length to Long Canyon so we are estimating the distance from the Long Canyon Trail to Gold Hill.
